The UNDP Seoul Policy Centre (USPC) is co-hosting a session with the Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS) on the changing nature of the science-policy interface. The session will take place on December 11 between 16:00 – 17.30 (Delhi time)

The session seeks to explore how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting the relationship between science and policymaking and, going forward, how the relationship between the two spheres might evolve in the face of global issues such as climate change, whose solution will require intensive collaboration between scientists and policymakers. The session is part of a series of webinars in preparation to Delhi VI, organized by the Network of Southern Thinktanks, and will thus provide a unique view by knowledge practitioners from the Global South and explore the role of South-South Cooperation on the issue. It will consist of a panel discussion, which will include representatives from academia, research and government institutions and international organizations.
