About Group

Established in 2014 on the sidelines of the first high-level meeting of the Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation in Mexico, and as a follow-up to the Conference of Southern Providers held in Delhi in 2013, the Network of Southern Think Tanks (NeST) objective is to collaboratively generate, systematize, consolidate and share knowledge on South-South Cooperation.

NeST is a network of Southern think tanks that welcomes contributions from a diversity of stakeholders from the Global South – including governments, civil society, private sector and development practitioners – and provides valuable policy recommendations and insights on South-South Cooperation. NeST seeks a shared understanding and an effective application of South-South Cooperation.

NeST Network Focal Point is Professor Sachin Chaturvedi.
